The romance between Valentin and Flavie, contestants on the latest season of L’Amour est dans le préseems to be lasting, despite health concerns. The 21-year old has in fact been diagnosed when filming the emission of a sarcoma, a type of cancer that develops in connective tissue according to the French National Cancer Institute. But “everything is now much better”. according to the Manche farmerwho confided in Karine Le Marchand in one of the last episodes of the show.
The couple are even already imagining a future together, despite the distance of “less than two hours” separating them, as Valentin recently told Purepeople. For the time being, the two lovebirds only see each other “at weekends”, but plan to live together as early as “spring or the end of winter”. It’s a real change of scene for the 26-year-old, who nevertheless got a taste of married life by taking in his partner during her convalescence over the summer. “The arrival of a woman in my life has caused a lot of changes, let’s face it. I’m a bit apprehensive about life as a couple, and that’s going to take its toll,” he confessed to the media outlet.
“We’ll see
And while he has trouble projecting himself in certain areas, Valentin still seems ready to make room in his life for Flavie. “She wants to get married, but I’m not necessarily ready. I’m not against it, but I figure there’s no point, we’re already going to be living together. But we’ll see, we’re not there yet”, he confided. Especially as the young woman’s treatments for her illness have imposed certain delays. “Children are a project too, but in any case it’s not possible for two years because of her cancer treatment,” added Valentin.
In another interview for the Breton media Guignen Storyfor her part, Flavie returned to theshooting experienceincluding some strong moments with Valentin that actually happened… behind the cameras! The official kiss is not the one you see,” she revealed. There were several before, the one we see was on purpose for the cameras, the official one was done the day before.”
