The Women’s Women’s Soccer World Cup will go from 32 to 48 teams, such as the Male event, of the 2031 edition announced on Friday the International Federation (FIFA). The decision was made unanimously by the FIFA Council “given the remarkable progress recently made by women’s football worldwide,” the body said in a statement, before its 75th Congress that begins Thursday in Asuncion (Paraguay).
