Monaco and Brest rejoice
On Tuesday evening in Bologna, Monaco picked up three precious points in the race to qualify for the Round of 8. A late goal from Kehrer secured all three points for the club from the Principality, who now have 10 points as… Brest. The Bretons managed to beat Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic on Wednesday evening thanks to goals from E. Fernandez and a CSC from Kairinen (1-2).
Lille, at the rendezvous
Winners of the Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid in recent matches, Lille had a date with another European giants on Tuesday. But against Juventus, LOSC didn’t let their heads drop and managed to take a point after leading (final score 1-1). J. David had opened the scoring for Lille, but Vlahovic equalised from the penalty spot. LOSC are now 14th in this unique group.
PSG in free fall
Paris Saint-Germain opened the scoring against Atlético de Madrid thanks to a Zaïre-Emery piledriver, but lost out late on to a killer goal from Correa (1-2). The Parisians are now 25th, in a position to be eliminated, and have yet to play the Bayern Munich and Manchester City…

On the next matchday, Brest travel to Barcelona (November 26) and PSG take on Bayern on the same day. Monaco host Benfica and Lille travel to Bologna the following day, November 27.
