The US authorities announced on Monday, June 9, the sending of around 700 marinas on Monday, June 9 and another 2,000 members of the National Guard to Los Angeles (California), in reinforcement of the thousands of members of the guard already present in the city. The Regional Military Command (Northern US Command) said that this mobilization was linked to the increase in threats against federal buildings and agents. The soldiers, based in southern California, were integrated into the intervention force called Task Force 51.
