“Lola has been found in good health,” the police said on Thursday, without giving any further details. This good news brings to an end more than a month of investigation into this disappearance, which David Rimaux, Commissioner of the Federal Police’s Missing Persons Unit, had deemed worrying.
What could Lola have been doing for a month?
At this stage, it is not known under what conditions Lola was found, or even what she might have been doing since October 28. For a time, her family suggested that the teenager had run off with a man in his forties. But the police confirmed on Thursday that nothing had come of it. 20 Minutes.
However, it was the girl herself who contacted the police “so that we could find her”, assures the commissioner, adding that Lola “was currently being looked after by the youth services”.
