Diego Maradona “was in agony” and his heart weighed “almost double” of normal, the doctors who produced their autopsy said Thursday, to the judgment of health professionals considered by negligence to have contributed potentially to the death of the ex Argentine block.
There were “signs of agony” in the heart, said Mauricio Casinelli, a forensic doctor who examined the body in the medical residence of the suburbs of Buenos Aires, where Maradona died, then during an autopsy performed a few hours later.
