Monday’s wild card postseason contest between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams has been relocated to Arizona, according to an announcement Thursday night from the NFL. The league says they made the move in the “interest of public safety” as Southern California continues to deal with raging wildfires. Trump spent nearly 7 minutes ranting about the issue, blasting Newsom for doing nothing to fix the problem.
Prior to their announcement, the NFL stated that they had a contingency plan if the Vikings-Rams game had to be relocated. Releasing a statement Thursday, the league said they came to the conclusion that the game would have to be moved following “consultation with public officials, the participating clubs and the NFLPA.”
