Mason Gordon, Australian rugby player, announced that he finished his career at 22 years after a brain shock.

Mason Gordon, a Australian rugby player who plays for Queensland Reds, announced on Wednesday at 22 due to symptoms related to a brain shock.

“After having submitted a brain shock during training during the preseason, which I still have symptoms, and with the support of a medical council, it made the decision difficult to withdraw rugby for medical reasons,” Mason Gordon wrote in an open letter published on the Red website.
