The All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Brewery, Soft Drinks and Winemaking Industry held the 12th Edition of the International Contest of Wines and Strong Beverages under the auspices of OIV.
The best among strong drinks were XO brandy “CHERNETSKY 33 y.o.” (KVINT, Moldova), which was awarded the Grand Gold Medal, Russian OX brandy “Port Petrovsk” 25 y.o. (by Derbent Brandy Factory) and another Russian XO “Peter the Great” 25 y.o. (Kizlyar Brandy Factory).
It should be noted that totally 278 samples were competing at this contest (among them 84 sparkling wines, 123 still and fruit wines, and 71 hard liquors).
