Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

Let me introduce one of the largest producers of wine, cognac and other strong beverages in the Commonwealth of Independent States – the Tiraspol Distillery "KVINT".

The history of this enterprise traces back to 1897, when a rectification warehouse was built and launched into operation on Vokzalnaya Street. At that time it was specialized in production of 40? alc. vodka from homemade grape wines purchased from the peasants of nearby villages. As early as then the idea of making cognacs was conceived and first steps were taken to implement it into practice, although the first cognac spirits were laid for seasoning only in 1938. It was that “store of sun”, which laid foundation of the present fame and popularity of the drinks under the trademark "KVINT" on the C.I.S. markets and in many Western countries.

The fate of the Tiraspol Wine & Cognac Distillery "KVINT" was not smooth, same as the fate of its country: it was destined to revive twice from the ashes – first in 1925, after a fire of 1918, which had burnt it to the ground, and then again in 1948, when it was restored from the ruins after the World War II.

Being the modern and well-equipped enterprise, possessing the latest state-of-the-art machinery, our distillery still maintains an age-old traditions and trade secrets of making the best beverages, whose closely guarded recipes are handed down from generation to generation. We know how to cope with a hard job of marking a harmonious combination of traditionalism and originality, which enables us to achieve an inimitable noble taste and rich aroma of our products. Every year KVINT perfects its technological equipment, develops new brands of products, which successfully compete with leading European rivals due to the highest quality of used raw materials –totally natural and absolutely ecological – plus our exclusive recipes and unique know-how.

In 2000 KVINT was certified against International Quality Management System ISO 9001-94, with subsequent recertification against a newer version ISO 9001-2000 in 2003 (BVQI). This is one of the few enterprises on the former USSR territory, which has Kosher Certificate.

KVINT annually produces about seven million liters of wines, cognacs, vodka and other strong drinks. This includes more than 50 names of vodka, liqueur, wine, fifteen brands of cognac aged from 3 to 50 years, each product outstanding not only for its original content, but also for its up to date consumer-alluring design. Every year the Distillery expands its own vineyards. Since 1995 KVINT has planted new vineyards on the area exceeding 1000 hectares. Laborious endeavors of the Tiraspol winemakers were deservedly appreciated at various international exhibitions and tastings. The products of KVINT have won a lot of prizes, including 3 Super Grand Prix Cups, 15 Grand Prix Cups, 1 Gold Diploma, 111 gold medals, 40 silver medals and 9 bronze ones.

The product under the trademark "KVINT" is a standard of the highest quality; it will give you a true pleasure of encounter with the inspiration personified.

This wine is made by traditional technology from the grapes of the variety Merlot grown on own vineyards of KVINT.
